Doctors are okay , the medical assistants suck & it’s only one nurse. I didn’t know this was a clinic . Super packed in the mornings , I recommend going in the afternoons .

I do not recommend North Hudson Community Action Corporation. My experience was a complete waste of time and extremely unprofessional. I arrived at 11:00 a.m. and didn’t leave until around 5:30 p.m. The staff was disorganized, unprofessional, and seemed to have no concern for patients. As a new patient, I expected at least some level of courtesy and professionalism, but that was not my experience at all. After reading so many negative reviews beforehand, I hoped things had improved. Unfortunately, they haven’t. The complaints people have posted are consistent with what I experienced. What made the visit even more frustrating was that, after waiting for hours, I was told I needed to pay to see a specialist. The “specialist” spent about two minutes with me, barely examined me, and prescribed medication based only on what I told her. There was no meaningful physical examination or effort to confirm the cause of my problem before writing a prescription. After paying a significant amount out of pocket, they also billed my insurance for what felt like little to no actual medical evaluation. HORRIBLE PLACE!!! Don’t come here!! Staff don’t know what there doing. They make you waste your time. Appointment at 12:00pm. Waiting for 55mn already and the only thing they said is that the entire staff is at lunch! So why giving appointments at this time!! Tell me about 30 to 40 more min. This is insane. This will be my last time here!

Dr huggins was horrible the entire time I was a patient there. Very very rude. Seemed like she was only there for a paycheck. Without any explanation or warning was going to send me to medical center for care which was farther away from my home. The medical assistant in the room was even taken back by her attitude towards me. The assistant even asked me "what happened?" And "what was that all about" and I clearly didn't know what was her problem with me personally. All I wanted know was the status of my baby. I was always respectful. The staff there don't like her. One worker said that when she's there everyone has a bad day. I'm sorry but nobody meaning your staff or pregnant women should have to deal with your attitude. Maybe it's time for you to retire. This may be a community clinic but nobody deserves to be treated the way I did or staff. Dr Borja very nice and the girls were always so sweet.

When you talk to the front desk, they make u feel like you need to beg for information. The young lady I spoke to was talking like she didn’t care about the patients or her job either. There was zero initiative to help. Some people should simply quit if they hate their job so much. People at the front desk should be always with a smile and a willingness to help. Miss, you are young but in the wrong place.
